About Mathias Törnblom

My mission at work is to ease the working lives of others; My firm belief is that technology is just a tool to achieve that, and technology shouldn’t govern us. My current role is Customer Technology Evangelist. I use my knowledge and expertise to provide strategic technology guidance and focus on building long term relationships with our customers.Two words that inspire me in my life are challenge and achievement. So leading projects has and is not an issue. It’s my nature, and I’m highly focused on my goals. Above that, I wish to work in a good, fun, healthy working environment with various tasks. I’m both an IT generalist and a specialist with sustained experience from leading staff and down to bits and bytes of computer systems. One of the bigger jobs as head of security was to renegotiate the agreement that applied to Upplands Motor in Uppsala, Märsta and Akalla. In the role, I have the ultimate responsibility in contact with the government agencies in the area and works closely with the other managers and HR.As the facilities manager, I have responsibility for tenants and vendors, such as the cleaning. Furthermore, I'm the developer of the new claims center with a body repair shop and storage of weels. I'm also the rental representative on the steering group in the project for the refurbishment of the newly acquired plant in Hammarby.

Another change was to connect all the branches to the head office in Stockholm in a WAN and to the Internet. I also deployed a standard for the PC-clients in terms of selection hardware, operation software and applications. The selection of application was hard and intensive work together with the staff.
