In my role as Startup Collaboration Manager at BSH Startup Kitchen I am responsible for designing, running and scaling Venture Clienting activities for BSH Home Appliances Group. We provide BSH business access to leading Tech-Startups to solve pressing innovation challenges. By leveraging external innovation power to drive BSH innovation efforts at quality and speed, we establish long-term, value-creating business partnerships for both Startups and BSH benefit. The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange program for Young Professionals is designed to enable young professionals from both countries to study and participate in practical work in the other country for a period of 12 months. The goal of this program is to contribute to the deeper understanding and continued development of cultural relations between the two countries. Moreover, I had the great opportunity to get acquainted with the American educational system, to gain additional work experience abroad, improve my English skills and enlarge my general knowledge about the US.

Every year since 1983, the Parlamentarische Patenschafts-Programm (PPP) has given young professionals the opportunity to experience an exchange year in the U.S. with a scholarship from the German Bundestag. In this year I......studied one semester at a US college ...worked in a job-related field with a US company ...were a Junior Ambassador of Germany to the USA ...volunteered in the community...lived with a host family Through its five elements, the PPP for Young Professionals is a cultural, civic and political exchange year that offers its scholarship holders an international study and professional stay at the same time.
