SRG Mining Inc. – (TSXV.SRG) is a Canadian-based resource company with the goal of creating shareholder value by becoming a leader in the production and delivery of low-cost, quick-to-market, quality graphite.

WAI Capital Investments Corp. is an exploration company that is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mining properties and is focusing primarily on SAR Guinee’s Forécariah permits located in Guinea, West Africa.I was directing all finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax and corporate insurance functions of a public company. During my term, the company has signed a CA$30 million credit facility with China International Fund Limited. A CA$2 million convertible debenture financing was also signed with SARI Inc. I have successfully lead the transition of the company from GAAP to IFRS and implementation of web-based accounting/reporting system in Africa. Both have been completed on time and below budget.

Global Mining Management provides administration and accounting services to companies own in part by Robert Friedland on a cost-shared base in Vancouver. Under their management, I acted as the corporate controller of GoviEx Uranium Inc., a mineral resources company that focused on the exploration and development of uranium properties in Africa. As I was reporting to the CEO, following the departure of the CFO that was not replaced during my term, I was responsible for all areas of finance and accounting, ensuring accurate and efficient reporting through strong internal controls due to the location of operations. During my term, the company raised US$20M with London-based BMO Capital Markets and US$5M privately. I’ve successfully implemented the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) and the Disclosure Controls and Procedures (“DC&P”) as part of a listing requirement for the preparation of Initial Public Offer (“IPO”) on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Reporting to the CFO, I managed the day to day accounting functions. I prepared the consolidated financial statements under IFRS and provided timely management reports to the executive group. I also provided onsite support to accountants in various remote locations in Africa and China.

Quebecor World Inc. was a printing subsidiary of Quebecor Inc., owned by the Péladeau family based in Montreal. It comprised several small and large print shops worldwide. In 2010, Quebecor World was acquired by Wisconsin-based Quad/Graphics. As Controller and Manager of Special Projects, I was transferred from Montreal’s Head Office to Vancouver as part of a major worldwide restructuring. In preparation for the closure of the Vancouver plant, I was responsible for production downsizing, transfer of contracts to various locations as well as the sale of any remaining equipment. This operation was completed within budget and within the planned six-month delay.

I was managing the general ledger for the Canadians companies and supervising the accounting analyst team.

I was mainly in charge of the preparation of general ledger account reconciliations including bank reconciliations and preparation of GST/QST remittances.
