Condition monitoring or Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) is the process of monitoring a certain aspect of the condition of a piece of machinery, such that a significant change is indicative of a developing failure.Condition Monitoring is a major component of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and asset health.
