About Mathieu Debure

Mathieu DEBURE holds an engineering degree in materials sciences from ENSIL. He obtained his PhD from Pierre and Marie Curie University, prepared at Mines ParisTech (France), in 2012. Most of his research combines experimental, characterization and modelling work to study water/rock/gas interactions and materials degradation. They include several analytical techniques (e.g. transmission microscopies, X-Ray Diffraction, Infrared, Raman or small-angle X-ray scattering), modelling and mathematical equation development. Its area of expertise cover field, lab and in situ experiments and modelling in the areas of nuclear waste storage, oil and gas, mine tailings, critical zone and environmental pollution.
