Competence Leader Model Based Controls DesignBrace Automotive Feb 2013 - Mar 2014Leading the Model Based Design cluster to help automotive and heavy industry customers adopting model-based design and simulation driven technologies to support product development and frontload testing. Various projects in the area of physical modeling, controls design, unit and system level testing, modeling patterns and optimized simulation workflows:• Proof of concept study of an energy recovery system suited for off-highway drivelines equipped with a hydrostatic transmission.• Design and testing of application level control functions for 2 a speed gearbox hydrostatic drivetrain application -
Vehicle Systems Control EngineerBrace Automotive Oct 2010 - Mar 2014I have worked as a member of the advanced engineering group within a 1st Tier supplier for the off-highway market. I worked on several projects related to hydrostatic/hydrodynamic transmission development Furthermore I started with ideas to set-up a Model Based Design group within BRACE Automotive. See the competence centre section for more information. -
Vehicle Control Systems Engineer1St Tier Off-Highway Transmission Supplier Oct 2010 - Mar 2014I have worked mainly on hydraulic hybridisation project; a recuperation system for off-highway drivelines equiped with a hydrostatic transmission. My work mainly consisted in modelling advanced controller algorithms at different levels with Matlab-Simulink. Furthermore I worked on the development and validation of driveline models in the conceptual phase with AMESim. The testing was done on a prototype vehicle fitted with a DSpace system. Later on I worked on a hydrostatic drivetrain project for an off-highway driveline. The integration of algorithms defined in a concept phase with a production controller environment was key for the project.
