Between university terms, I joined MediCheck to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic startup environment. MediCheck specializes in managing employee absenteeism by bridging the gap between independent general practitioners (GPs) and large companies. I supported business development efforts across Flanders, proactively identifying and engaging prospects, including both GPs and large corporations (1000+ employees). I conducted in-person meetings with GPs, utilizing a direct, results-driven approach to successfully onboard them to the network. Additionally, I participated in high-level corporate meetings with major companies, gaining valuable insights into their organizational needs and enhancing MediCheck’s approach to serve both healthcare providers and corporate clients effectively.

As part of my university curriculum, I completed an internship abroad with Vesismin, where I was responsible for conducting global market research using an analysis and advisory model. My role involved evaluating the attractiveness of various regional markets based on factors such as legislation, competition, and healthcare infrastructure. Additionally, I contributed creative ideas to support the marketing team, enhancing their strategies and campaigns.
