I am a 4th year BScH Biology/Environmental Science candidate at Acadia University. My primary interests are in aquatic ecology and behavioural ecology. My honours thesis research looks at positive phototaxis in procellariform seabirds, more specifically; quantifying attraction rates of Leach's storm-petrels to different light colours. Intending to determine what light types cause maximum and minimum rates of attraction, our end goal is to create a framework for mitigating light attraction related mortality.
