When emergencies occur I assess the nature of the emergency and dispatch and assist teams to accomplish the required repairs.Assess how the company can save money, or generate more income, in a work environment where supplies, utilities, mortgages and contracts are always increasing, while the annual rent increases are limited at 2.5% (in Ontario).Plan and execute various renovation projects aimed at enhancing our tenant’s quality of life while following building codes and safety guidelines and diversifying services.Manage 6 heritage style buildings across center town including 100+ units, 4 parking lots, and 200+ tenants.Tour the properties on a daily basis and ensure cleanliness, safety and that all infrastructure including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing and utilities are in good working order.Pay all contractors, invoices, utility bills, mortgages and insurance premiums on time.Prepare and present quarterly reports.Work hands on and assist our painters, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, cleaners on a routine basis.Foster positive relationships with business partners, suppliers, contractors and assist networking events to create new contacts that benefit the company.
