With over six years of experience living and working in Japan, I have gained a great deal of insight and skills specific to international business operations and communications. With previous experience as the assistant office manager/ IT manager for a company based in Yokohama, and now as a Computer Support Specialist for Davis Polk and Wardwell’s Tokyo Office, understanding and adapting to Japanese business culture and international affairs has been an enriching and rewarding experience. Dealing with clients and suppliers from around the world, my role includes a great deal of interaction and interpretation / translation between our offices and our industry partners and clients. Being bilingual in English and French, as well as business level Japanese, has allowed me to help develop our company’s markets and growth.From IT support that includes but is not limited to: user security, software application implementations, web site management, hardware maintenance, office integration, user training, and network management; through to all aspects of office administration, purchasing, customer/supplier correspondence including sales related activities, I believe my position and responsibilities are dynamic and ever expanding.
