My teaching focuses on applied biomechanics and scientific research methods.

The development of an International Department has been initiated in 2020 to promote exchanges in the field of education and training in osteopathy. In terms of research, the aim is to promote collaboration with practitioners and researchers working in osteopathic institutes or laboratories in order to identify joint research projects and develop new methodological approaches. In terms of education, this mobility programme is an opportunity to develop new skills, open up new learning experiences, discover other cultures, build a future network and gain international experience in osteopathy.

The Rennes Institute of Osteopathy Research Unit was founded in October 2013 to promote research in the field of osteopathy by engaging the teaching faculty and introducing students to research, with the aim of enhancing the scientific recognition of the discipline.

The International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine (IJOM) is dedicated to the publication of high-quality research articles, review papers, and other related material that influence and underpin the principles and practice of osteopathic medicine. Particular emphasis is given to basic science research, clinical epidemiology, and health social science about osteopathy and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. I am involved in providing occasional guidance and advice to the editorial team on matters relating to the scope, policy, and direction of the journal, as well as reviewing manuscripts and promoting the journal to colleagues as an option for publication of their work.

My current research interests focus on applied biomechanics in osteopathic care and the rehabilitation field, musculoskeletal modelling of sports movements, and innovative methods in health education.
