Vitafish is one of the world's largest recirculating farm. The farm produces 4000 tons of tilapia per year which are processed on the site to produce almost 1200 tons of fillets.The aim of the farm is to sustainably produce a good quality fish which could be eaten by the consumer within the 24 hours after slaughtering.It is a completly vertically integrated farm, as we take care of the fish from the egg to the fillet.We succed in producing a completly disease free strain.I'm responsible for :- Broodstock production and improvement- Eggs production- Disease survey

Aquanord is the biggest intensive seabream and seabass farm in Europe. The cooling water of an electrical plant is used to produce 2800 tons of fish per year. The aim of Aquanord is to produce a high quality product to compete with mediteranean production.Intensive farms need oxygene to insure a good growth of the fish. In Aquanord the oxygene bill is the second expenditure after feed.The aim of my work was to improve the different oxygenation system in order to limit the cost of oxygen.
