Project manager for the renovation of an hydroelectric power plant of 24 MVA in the Alps.Management of the global installation's renovation (planification, organisation, technical supervision of the electrotechnical and control command parts).During this project, I had to study, write specifications and manage the replacement of two power transformers (of 12.5 MVA each) and all the associated circuits, such as high voltage power câbles, instrumentation and control as well as the civil adaptations for the new transformers. I was responsible of the global power plant's renovation project, wich included painting work on the penstock in the mountain (access in the forest by 4x4 and helicopter), the rewinding of a generator of 12 MVA, the replacement of two penstock's emptying valves, the replacement of two power transformers.I was responsible of coordinating multiple engineers (civil, mecanical, electrical, power plant operators, grid operators) by understanding and verifying their operations and integrate them in the global on site work program to avoid coactivity, power outage (during main circuits maintenance) and to guarantee the end of the work on time for every operations.I had to report to the client every expense, the advancement of the different works on site and the technical modifications if necessary. The cost of this global maintenance progam was 5 Millions euros.

Installation of different types of sensors (to measure turbine speed, oleo hydraulic pressure, hydraulic pressure, voltage, curent, valves positions, ...) on hydroelectric power plants systems (such as valves, turbines, penstocks, ...) and supervising test sequences. Analysing the test's results to understand precisely the process and the caracteristics of the studied system before a mecanical or electrical uprgade. This solution is needed for old power plants without enough documentation or plans.
