I work as a Environmental Scientist completing Oil and Gas projects, Phase I & II ESAs, Stage I & II PSIs, completing environmental spill response projects under our contaminated sites division. I have taken part of projects pertaining to soil sampling, GW monitoring, water sampling, the installation of GW monitoring wells, environmental spill response clean up efforts and the associated confirmatory sampling. Field work has been an important facet of my professional development and gaining the required knowledge to move forward on projects when unforeseen circumstances arise. I am currently working on expanding my knowledge of BC environmental regulations, protocols and technical guidance pertaining to contaminated site remediation.

I worked as a first response technician, responding to hazardous materials/waste spills, the containment, reduction and collection of released contaminants. Following the completion of first response activities, I worked to reduce site below AEP guidelines specific to site through excavation of affected materials or the application of bioremediation technologies.
