The project aims to replace the Carapeba field export through the installation of a 10 km 16'' welded subsea pipeline. In charge of laying campaign field preparation and execution.

Following GANGA construction completion and first wells start up I moved on to a new 20 km 12’’ pipe laying campaign onshore Gabon to centralize production, debottleneck an existing process and reduce site OPEX. This involved laying the pipeline as well as tie ins and associated process upgrades at COUCAL station (piping upsize, metering revamp, pig traps installation, etc.).

This project aimed to produce the ~ 10 m oil rim of the Ganga field through subsurface separation facilities composed of 4 x separators, 2 x gas compressors + associated utility systems shared on 2 different onshore locations and processing fluids from 17 different wells. Engineering completed in Paris office. In charge of in country project management and construction works from initiation to first wells start up.

Fast track project consisting in the interconnection of 2 remote wells to an existing separation plant through an additional degassing facility and installation of a 32 km GRE threaded pipeline. In charge of the project execution from detailed engineering starting in January 2018 to plant start up and first oil 10 months later. Very exciting project from a time-frame standpoint.

MOPU B project consisted in the conversion of a drilling jack up unit into a separation plant to be hooked up to an existing production asset of the company, namely MOPU A.In charge of the onshore construction works at DPS yard in Port Gentil and later on the offshore hook up, commissioning and start up.We faced many challenges during the project, especially mechanical and structure installation wise but always managed to find our path through thanks to the very good team spirit and energy that built up all along. The SBM “Turret product line” deals with EPC of FPSO turrets & mooring systems including swivels stacks, weathervaning systems, structural and chain connectors which form part of SBM core business. What makes these projects so special is the technological complexity. Involved in:> FPSO turret pre-FEEDs (bids for FEED & EPC, concept definition, project setup, estimating, optimization exercises, risk analysis) – Swivel stack & Manufactured Parts Delivery Manager> FPSO Saxi Batuque gas injection swivel replacement – Project Manager> SYMP mooring legs design certification & project close out – Project Manager

Responsible for the execution of a ~ 40 mUSD EPCI FPSO brownfield multi-disciplinary project consisting of additional hot oil circulation capacity module including upgrades on existing system to reduce vibration issues (installation of new pressure vessels, module reinforcements, piping network revamp).> Management of an integrated worldwide team of ~20 people (engineering, procurement, logistics, finance & construction) throughout the project + varying team of discipline engineers and offshore subcontractors> Involved working ~50% in country (Rio de Janeiro) & onboard FPSO or surrounding installation vessels offshore Brazil> Dealt with lots of constraints linked to brownfield construction projects and developing tools and strategies to manage and mitigate these (POB, live plant, deck space, etc.)> Significant project financial authority level (1 mUSD) and direct exposure to client (Shell)

FPSO brownfield project consisting of FPSO hook up to new wells (3 risers & 2 umbilicals) and associated topsides / plant upgrades (WI modifications and commissioning, 3 x subsea pump VFD drives installation and hook up, PMS / ICSS upgrades, 2 x new lifeboats & launching platform installation.> Responsible for the preparation and execution of a major offshore plant shutdown (200 job cards / ~ 130 people involved on site) ending up with significant progress to project first oil and financial incentive from client satisfaction (mobilized 45 days onboard during plant shutdown for offshore supervision, day to day planning and construction site management)> Tailored project commissioning philosophy (based on company standards), put schedule together, coordinated commissioning deliverables production, staffed & briefed team accordingly, held various workshops and presentations to get all relevant parties to buy into plan> Deputy Project Manager

Within SBM Operation entity, responsible for supporting fleet operations where assigned. In particular with regard to tanker acquisition, lay up management, marine expertise, FPSO voyage and decommissioning support.> Provide support on FPSO Xikomba cessation of production including 2,5 months mobilization in Angola onshore & offshore to establish demobilization operational & regulatory scope and follow up closure of all items until readiness for sail away> Plan, budget & execute hot lay up of FPSO Falcon i.e. key process equipment preservation, tanks dehumidification, piping anticorrosive fogging, repairs including various trip in Malaysia for ship inspection & management contractor audit> Source, recommend and support acquisition of suitable tankers candidate to company FPSO / FSO conversion projects i.e. monitor market, coordinate technical assessment including on site surveys, assist in delivery process> Responsible for various marine management procedure issuances and reviews, studies, audits, regulatory compliance surveillance (Class, Flag, P&I, IMO, etc.)
