The grinding calculation was previously done manually, and my role was to create the requirements specification to add in the ERP a module to make this calculation automatically. It allows to go directly from the body measurement to the seat grinding, without waiting for the Methods Department to make the calculation, and thus to reduce the production time.During this internship, I had the opportunity to discuss with the operators taking care of the machining and of the metrology, with the IT Department, and of course with the Methods engineers, to find a reliable, feasible, and intuitive solution.
