I own a landscaping and renovation company. My responsibilities include:-Communicating, building, developing, growing business relationships and negotiating with clients.-Taking into consideration competitive bidding, prepare detailed contract, including material specifications, cost, timelines, ensuring that all client needs are met.-Hiring and supervising staff, ensuring that they receive the necessary training and are provided with appropriate tools in order to competently complete their duties in an efficient and timely manner. -Planning and preparing work schedules and timelines and monitor progress -Ordering material and monitoring the use and inventory of supplies at an appropriate level and ensuring safely use and maintenance of necessary tools to complete projects.-Completing basic repairs of machinery and landscaping tools as well as routine plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs when doing renovations-Utilizing a computerized system to ensure orders and purchases are inputed and updated in an accurate and timely manner. -Performing all facets of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including Health and Safety standards and Human Rights.-Addressing concerns of clients and staff on an ongoing basis to ensure the timely completion of the project.
