Driven by a passion for pharmaceutical innovation, particularly in the field of targeted and personalized biotherapies, I aim to bridge the gap between fundamental research and practical applications, contributing to projects where research findings translate into real-world solutions.As a PhD candidate, I have spent the past three years in academia, working as a junior researcher on a pioneering project at the intersection of oncohematology and immunology and as a graduate teaching assistant in biotechnology, cell biology, and biochemistry at the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine at the Université de Strasbourg, France. I am nearing completion of a PharmD/PhD double degree (thesis pending) and currently enrolled in the one-year, full-time Master of International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy (MIHMEP) program at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan.Through my academic and professional experiences, I have gained expertise in elucidating the biological mechanisms of diseases, identifying druggable targets, managing drug development and production, and overseeing patient dispensing. While I am proficient in assessing drug candidates on scientific, technical, and clinical grounds, I understand that success in developing and delivering innovative medicines also depends on economic, regulatory, and political factors.The MIHMEP program equips me with skills to evaluate drug candidates from economic and regulatory perspectives and to deepen my understanding of the factors shaping the drug market landscape.I aspire to advance my career in portfolio management or pharma/biotech M&A, leveraging my expertise to impact projects with direct and meaningful benefits for patient welfare and healthcare outcomes.
