DLF is growing and its R&D is being restructured to support a global company. I am very grateful and proud to be part of this adventure, to collaborate with breeders, Researchers, Leaders and a great diversity of highly skilled professionals in order to create the best forage and turf varieties for today and tomorrow.

New challenge!- Within R&D Management Group, participate in the general strategic development of the R&D platform- Supervise the European forage breeding programs, currently including forage programs at the breeding stations in DK, NL, UK, FR and CZ in the species ryegrasses, fescues, Festulolium, smooth-stalked meadowgrass and clovers.- Maintain responsibility and participate actively in the perennial ryegrass breeding program in NL.- In cooperation with forage breeders and trials responsible in USA, New Zealand and South America, coordinate activities to ensure that the global gene pools in the DLF Group are being utilized optimally, including exchange of material between locations and organization of trials.

I am in charge of a 5 people team dedicated to resarch in agronomy, breeding and seed production in Aromatic and medicinal plants

I was responsible for pre breeding activities in cereals. I developped innovative tools in order to help the breeders in their activities. Those tools are devoted to quality assessment for end uses, prediction of agrophysiological traits through molecular tools and near infra red spectroscopy. My missions involved the integration of those tools into the breeding programs for optimal use and outputs.

I had been hired by SERASEM for 6 months as an assistant breeder on barley. I worked on a research project to develop and improve tools to analyse the quality of barley varieties for brewing purpose. In order to complete this task, I worked with internal colleagues of the breeding department and the biotechnology and molecular biology departments. I was also in contact with external colleagues in public research institutes and brewing companies.

As a trainee, i worked in the plant pathology department. I studied the genetic basis of resistance to melon powdery mildew.
