Hi there! My name is Mat and I am seasoned and passionate leader in the technical enablement space. Education has always been a passion of mine since an early age which lead me to study music education. While my career has taken a different turn since college, that passion for learning and teaching never died. In all of my positions, I have been a champion of building a culture of learning, whether it's coaching and mentoring my colleagues, building training materials, or developing and running formal enablement programs. My experience has given me exposure into different industries, various team dynamics, and a mix of internal and customer facing responsibilities. At Dentrix, I quickly learned not just the software but the nuances of running and managing a dental practice which accelerated me to a senior technician in a matter of months. At Verisk 360Value, consulting clients on setting up API connections via SOAP was a foreign skill when I started but something I had to learn and master on my own quickly. Perhaps most complex of all was learning and understanding the world of private equity through the lens of start up companies and established, enterprise sized corporations. My technical experience mixed with my passion for education naturally lead me to officially move into the enablement world. I have found my niche focusing on technical enablement, and thrive helping support, onboarding, or other technical teams build their skills and provide them with the resources they need to be successful and add as much value as possible.
