Mechanical Engineer with 31 years of experience in various fields. Throughout my career I have worked in production, sales, maintenance and projects. Joined the Leal Group in November 2020 to oversee their new infrastructural projects as well as the maintenance and security of their existing assets. Since 2020 I have been responsible for the development of a 12,000 sq.m warehouse/office project for one of our subsidiary in the Northern vicinity of Port Louis and just completed the erection of 10,000 sq.m of showrooms/stores and workshops in the new Montebello Smart City for various vehicle brands of the group.Spent 20 years with the Beachcomber Hotels group, the leader in the hotel industry in Mauritius, where I was responsible for the design, installation and general maintenance of high value assets like air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, kitchens and control systems. This comes together with the management of the operational budget of the technical department and the management of a Eur 300,000 central technical spare parts stock.
