Responsible for the operational departments Projects en FacilitiesManaging Logistics Engineers and Facilities department (Technical maintenance, packaging, waste, cleaning)Project management: o Project lead of projects 5-10 project memberso Projects mostly in the area of warehousing & distributiono Make costs/benefits analyses and business caseso Make a project plan (timing, milestones, resources en budget)o Monitor and manage project progresso Supplier selectiono Management of project costso Realizing project savingso Communicate and report to project sponsor, project team, stake-holders, operational staffo Identify, group and prioritize the set of projects o Design logistic processes based on requirements of the internal and external customerso Implement / Coordinate warehousing / distribution changes in the Xerox warehousing as well the outsourced 3PL operationso Initiate and participate in projects in the Post sales Supply Chaino Initiate innovationsCompleted projects:o Spares re-engineering (insourcing of spares warehouse processes)o Consumables outsourcing to a 3pl (outsourcing of activities to a logistic service provider)o Forecasting tool for the daily headcount planningo Warehouse Efficiency standard times and productivity toolo Several lay out changes (packing & sorting area, receiving area)o Consolidation area consumables (saving of parcel distribution costs)o Scan to dispatcho Serial number scanning consumables for grey marketso Several direct ship projects (order fulfillment from Venray and no more from in country distribution center)o Several system changes for WMS & TMSWarehouse Facilities:o Manage packing material costs & inventory for Xerox operation and LSP operationo Manage Technical maintenance teamo Manage waste flows (carton, plastic, pallets)o Set up yearly budgets in control plano Set up yearly maintenance plano Consult with suppliers and site facilities
