Project design, fund-raising & activities implementationThe project aims to encourage and develop the practice of sports among young girls through:- Improving the socio-cultural environment through awareness-raising and advocacy involving sports associations, teachers, community leaders and social networks; - Improving access to health and sports information to deconstruct gender stereotypes in sport;- Building and running a sports education program adapted to girls and women;- The detection and coaching of young Chadian athletes with potential.Based on a multi-stakeholder, gender-sensitive approach, the project's actions are geared primarily towards mobilizing and enhancing local voluntary sports associations already working in the field, and volunteers to implement and sustain the project.The project was funded by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs through the FSPI-R mechanism and implemented by the French Embassy in Republic of Chad.
