Als strategisch adviseur Passend Onderwijs werk ik mee aan strategie/planning betreffende het faciliteren van passend onderwijs in Regio Rotterdam & Hoeksche Waard. Hierin werk ik samen met de SWV’s, scholen en ketenpartners. Mijn achtergrond vanuit het kleinschalige cluster2 onderwijs met veel vraag om maatwerk en mijn huidige werk als onderwijsontwerper komen beide goed van pas in dit functie. Doel is om zowel individuele kinderen binnen een school goed passend onderwijs te bieden als om te bedenken hoe faciliteiten tot stand gebracht kunnen worden waarvan kinderen uit gehele regio profijt hebben.

ADEL is a summer school for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students for improving skills of English Language. For people in Europe English is very important for access in study, work, research and career opportunities. With English in the pocket there are more possibilities for mobilisation within Europe. For Deaf people this is different. Because the lack of training and education in English Language, they don't have the same possibilities as other European citizens. ADEL will break this barrier with offering special summer schools including applied curriculum, applied training using sign language and certified teachers with expertise on deafness and deaf didactics. Team ADEL does have 3 managers. We are based in The Netherlands and will provide summer schools in Anglo-Saxon countries in collaboration with partners in EU.
