Main missions:• Attending the 41st session of the Human Rights Council, taking in-depth and precise notes and summarizing statements on key issues including China, Venezuela, Philippines and the OPT;• Monitoring and following thematic issues raised at the Council, such as preventing violence against women, prevention and sexual orientation and gender identity;• Drafting and editing letters to state officials, diplomats and other relevant international organizations as well as advocacy documents in English, Spanish or French;• Summarizing research and compiling briefing papers on country-specific or thematic issues, as well as national law and IHL;other tasks: gathering research documents on a large range of human rights issues, providing summaries of complex political debates and made valuable contributions to our work, including tracking voting records and preparing internal documents on the use of UN human rights mechanisms.
