Cycles Mechanic
Student employment, repair of all types of cycles, sales, advice, repair and refurbishment, this job also allows me to deepen various mechanical aspects useful to my engineering training.
Trainee Engineer Continuous Improvement And Qseen
In partnership with the National School d” Engineers from Metz , I was able to do a fourth-year internship in the Reliability Department of the Kimberly plant -Clark Professional from Villey -Saint -Etienne (54), France. This department, which is closely linked to the maintenance teams of the paper-making devices, has enabled me to carry out three main topics. The first mission carried out was to create preventive ranges for the equipment of an extraction line (loop) and vacuum pumps. A second part of the course was dedicated to the formalization and improvement of a tool for maintenance management with the aim of standardizing its use within maintenance teams. It was necessary to train the people concerned in order to make this process accessible and intuitive. In a third step, the definition of reliability processes was put in place.By analysing the requirements of the KC group, and taking into account the specificities of the VSE plant , the deployment of the various processes related to the establishment of a modernized Industry and Reliability was the objective of this topic. Finally, the end of the course was devoted to the codification of spare parts for a new converting line. Therefore, items requiring storage and coding had to be inventoried and processed in databases. The piloting of these projects allowed me to acquire knowledge in terms of time management through a rigorous monitoring of planning tasks, taking responsibility by training in the coding of parts and then passing on this training, but also in terms of maintenance management since all the work carried out is structured around this theme. I discovered the constraints of the industrial world and the role of an engineer in the modernization and reliability of processes and equipment.
Intérim
I had the opportunity to extend my experience during a mission with the Gepor AMR group for one month. Thanks to this extension I was able to perfect and complete my project. Managing the latter independently allowed me to familiarize myself with the role of an engineer and to discover the responsibilities assigned to him.
Internship
As part of my engineering training, I joined the rail sector of a subsidiary of a large company, Arcelor Mittal, in the fourth half of the year. Recruited from the technical office responsible for the GEPOR AMR railway workshop, the department manager entrusted me with a project: to reduce the criticality of various tasks performed by employees during external interventions. Through the use of different tools (risk analysis, task scheduling, file writing, . . . ), a prototype was developed theoretically and physically (see photos). This experience allowed me to discover the business world, but also to acquire several skills such as project management, team management, prototype design, communication and many others. During my mission I enjoyed building my project with the various GEPOR employees and their partners. Managing the latter independently allowed me to familiarize myself with the role of an engineer and to discover the responsibilities assigned to him.
