I coordinate public and private sector programmes on Tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control in line with the National Multi-sectoral Accountability Framework for Tuberculosis MAF-TB.I facilitate effective communication between the National Tuberculosis (TB) and Leprosy Program and Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to foster effective collaboration in the prevention and control of Tuberculosis (TB).I provide technical support and guidance in capacity needs assessment within the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies and advocate for the necessary support.I Facilitate the decentralization process of Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention and Control Programmes to Ministries, Departments, and Agencies at the sub-national level.Provide technical support in the development and implementation of strategies and approaches for Tuberculosis (TB) mainstreaming in line with the MAF-TB among the MDAs;I Coordinate MDAs to participate in TB policy development, strategic planning, and budgeting in support of the national TB response.I facilitate the designing and implementation TB programming strategies to support sector-specific responses in line with the multi-sectoral accountability framework and TB National Strategic Plan.I prepare and submit Local Partners Health Services and National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Program (NTLP) work plans, budgets, and performance reports for MAF-TB activities to the Program Director, Assistant Commissioner National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Program (NTLP) Ministry of Health.I support the public sector in mobilizing available resources to implement TB programmes in line with the National TB strategic plan and the MAF TB guidelines.I provide capacity building for the MDAs on the Multi-sectoral Accountability Framework for Tuberculosis MAF TB.I lead in reviewing and updating/amending the National MAF TB document and M&E plan.I prepare and provide input to the MAF TB technical committee on MDA performance in TB programming.

Kampala, Uganda

● Led the implementation of access to information, social accountability, and public procurement programmes within AFIC members across 24 countries. ● Increased disclosure of public procurement information by 25% by training more than 500 public officials, private sector and civil society organisations on the Right to Information, Open Contracting in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan and the Gambia. ● I enhanced open contracting knowledge among 300 officials and over 200 journalists, private sector and civil society combined through capacity-building sessions on their commitments to open contracting Uganda. ● Realised a 35% increase in the adaption and adoption of recommendations from four public contracts monitoring reports on the public procurement process and execution of the public contract /social accountability in the education, health, water and agriculture sectors at the local, national and regional levels in Uganda ● Improved citizens’ participation in public procurement by 15% by chairing over 60 district feedback meetings to engage public officials on implementing the Right to Information and citizens’ participation in public procurement. ● Through writing two (2) shadow reports on the status of Access to Information implementation and institutionalisation in Uganda, I obtained commitments from the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance to adopt recommendations. ● I increased advocacy and engagement sessions with the government for citizens’ engagement in accountability platforms and mechanisms in East Africa and West Africa through writing three (3) comparative studies reports on the impact of access to information. ● I attained a 5% increase in citizens’ interaction with public officials by facilitating over 50 community dialogue meetings to engage citizens on Access to Information and Open contracting and empowering citizens to interface with their leaders directly

Kampala

● I facilitated 12 compliance training for Busara field team. This amplified compliance and data quality collected by field teams and upheld research ethical standards and compliance while conducting fieldwork. ● I negotiated and obtained 12 research clearance permits/approvals from different Internal Reviews Boards-Research Ethics Committees (IRB-REC) in Uganda. ● I increased collaboration and networks by establishing relationships and maintaining partnerships with 4 Research Ethics Committees (IRB-REC), Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST), public institutions, and private and Non-Government Organisations● Provided technical guidance and coordinated Research Principal Investigators on 4 Research Internal Review Board clearance processes in Uganda. ● Reviewed the research protocols and provided technical guidance before submitting the protocols to the Internal Review Board- Research Ethics Committees (IRB-REC).● Followed up with 4 IRB-REC offices to obtain approval for the research protocol submitted.● Acquired research clearance/approval for the Resident District Commissioners and other lower administrative units before the commencement of the field surveys.● Managed all Research Programs, Project activities, Planning, coordination, and implementation of research studies involving human subjects.● Recruited partners from academic institutions, development banks, large NGOs, private companies and social enterprises and preserved relationships● I coordinated and monitored financial and material resources relevant to project needs. ● Monitored budget compliance and utilisation, which informed management in decision-making processes and improved internal programming.

Kigezi Region

● Coordinated project execution and management in the Kigezi region ● Strengthened the production capacity of 30 farmer groups through training to increase their production and improve quality in the Kigezi region.● Established and signed 4 Memorandum of Understanding with the financial institutions● Increased farmer’s production by 25% by linking 20 farmer groups to financial institutions in the Kigezi region● Signed 5 Memorandum of Understanding with District Local governments in the region, ● I reduced post-harvest losses by 15% by linking 12 farmer groups with different markets and concluded forward contracts with private actors. ● Reinforced farmers’ groups’ organisational and operational capacities to respond to market actual and potential demands in the Irish Potatoes value chain. ● Monitored the performance of the project management team and ensured all milestones in the annual work were achieved● Provided accountabilities and reports to donors on the project performance. ● Guided on knowledge generation, documentation and communication results

● Provided technical support in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of livelihood interventions for farmer groups ● Coordinated project execution and management ● Designed and coordinated market assessments, baseline surveys and feasibility studies to identify livelihood opportunities ● Provided technical direction, leadership, and training to farmer groups, business planning, and income generation.● Oversaw the implementation of livelihood interventions aligned with approved plans, budgets and schedules. ● Established 36 farmer groups of 25 members to participate in and promote the maize and pineapple value chain ● Monitored the performance of the project management team and ensured all milestones in the annual work were achieved● Provided accountabilities and reports to donors on the project performance. ● Guided on knowledge generation, documentation and communication results● Trained 36 farmer groups in collective marketing for maize and pineapple produced.● Created 20 Savings Internal Lending Communities (SILC)/Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) ● Established Pineapple Solar Dryers component to absorb the value of pineapples produced by the farmer groups and established a market for the dry pineapples ● Linked maize farmers to Agro-Input dealers and maize processors.
