About Matias Ezequiel Suarez

I obtained a degree in Physics from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). My bachelor thesis was about quantitative precipitation estimation in the province of Córdoba using data from the RMA1 weather radar.As a current PhD student in engineering, I've had the opportunity to delve deeply into the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) and WRF-Hydro models, where I was involved in simulations within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment and data analysis using Python.I also have experience in Fortran programming and Linux-based operating systems and I have taken several postgraduate courses in line with the interdisciplinary nature of my research. These courses include Atmospheric Physics, Meteorology Fundamentals, Python for Processing Satellite Weather Images, Geophysical Fluid Modelling, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Learning and Images in Python, Weather Radar Fundamentals and Data Science.I am also currently an Assistant Professor at the Facuty of Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics and Computation of the National University of Córdoba, where I teach courses such as Electromagnetism, Introduction to Physics and Experimental Physics.
