Responsible for the front-end testing of a Finnish business information website and an Internet Yellow Pages (IYP) service. A big part of the work was also testing a new search model built on Elasticsearch that was introduced as the new backbone for the aforementioned services. This involved testing the proprietary search API using tools such as Postman.Alongside the web front-end and back-end duties I worked part-time in testing a Truecaller type of mobile (Android & iOS) app related to the two services mentioned above. An Uber-like taxi hailing service was later embedded in the app and I took care of testing this new functionality both in the office with the development team as well as in the field in multiple cities around Finland.
