I am the Early Career Academic SIG Representative for Russian / Slavonic Studies for the University Council for Languages (UCFL). This is a voluntary role. Responsibilities include: collaboration with co-chairs on the organisation of events and resources to the benefit of ECA and PGR academics, communication with ECA SIG and advertising of events, and reflecting on the strategic and future directions for the ECA SIG, and writing these in meeting reports.This role also encompasses the UCFL Early Career Liaison for BASEES (British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies).
