The overarching mission of the Digitalization Council is to initiate and coordinate activities aimed at developing operations and support processes through the use of new digital tools. In my role I get to participate in meetings associate with these activities and come with inputs and ideas from the students perspective. I learn a lot about how digitalization can be implemented and used in a large-scale operation and its impact.

The recruitment committee shall make decisions on employment and promotion matters for Blekinge Institute of Technology. As a student representative I got to be a part of the decision-making for new positions at BTH as well as participate in interviews and trial lectures to give the student insight in recruitment. During my two years in this position a learned a lot about recruitment processes and working with decision-making processes in government operations

As a council commissioner at Blekinge Student Union I learned a lot about board work and got to be a part of the decision-making process for the entire student union. This includes operational plan, budget, and governing documents as well as choosing the student representatives to each board.

During the summer 2023 and part-time from may 2024 I have worked as Shipment Coordinator at Roxtec. This role deepened my knowledge in using ERP system as a logistic tool as well as the supply chain flow, international trade and customs. The daily task requires great teamwork both within the shipment team along with the warehouse and order management to achieve customer satisfaction in a global market. This role required me to be self-going and organize my work.

The Leadership Café at BTH was an initiative to gather students and leaders at different companies to discuss and exchange knowledge within leadership. The students were to present an area within leadership in which they wanted to receive input from the leaders. As project manager, my role was to both coach the students as well as gather the leaders as well as arrange the event. I learned a lot about leadership and self-reflection and I grew as project manager.

Leapfrogs Scholarship is an initiative from Lunds University where students get the opportunity to work with their business ideas during the summer. I received this scholarship in the summer of 2022 with my idea about digital learning methods for university students. Based on business hypotheses and market research I formed a concept that would help more people pass their exams. I developed as an entrepreneur, innovator and business strategist.

My role required good communication skills, attention to details as well as a great understanding of the logistic flow. I learned a lot about customs, international trade and ERP systems and got really good at structure my work tasks in an effective way.

As an instructor I got to develop my own circuit training sessions which I held at various locations for Wellness Studio in Karlskrona approximately 3-4 times a week. I got to practice my leadership and how to motivate different types of people in performing their best as well as having fun. It was a creative role, and it required me to be self-going. I got great feedback from the participants and as it gained popularity, there was always a queue for participating was very encouraging.

In this role my main task was to service and administrate the Large & SME Business Consumers at Telenor. I developed skills in achieving customer satisfaction through daily service, including financial and technical investigations, as well as sales. I often succeeded in this by understanding the customers’ needs and values.
