From 2009-2011, during Examiner.com's rapid-growth stage, the company's business model focused on applicant volume. I created and executed recruitment strategies to meet very aggressive goals to generate 2,000โ3,000 hyperlocal content writer applicants per week. Ideal candidates were required to have strong writing skills in addition to expertise within a specific topic (e.g. โNY Nightlife Photography Examiner,โ โDC Mental Health Examiner,โ etc.). โIncreased the number of Examiners from 12,000 (June 2009) to 68,000 (end of 2010). โWrote targeted recruitment messaging for 25 unique content categories.
