I'm a determined biologist, fresh out of Università degli Studi di Trieste with a focus on Functional Genomics. During my Master's, I embarked on a five-month Erasmus period in Bordeaux, diving deep into Cancer Biology. Back home, for my internship, I delved into colorectal cancer organoids, aiming to integrate them with patient-derived extracellular matrix hydrogel within a microfluidic chip.Post-graduation, I moved into a research fellowship at the lab of Tissue Engineering working on combining umbilical cord mesenchymal stromal cells with clinically approved biomaterials or our hydrogels derived from a decellularized muscular extracellular matrix aiming to treat pediatric fistulas in clinical exemption.What drives me in science is my curiosity and enthusia, together with working in an interdisciplinary environment!Thanks to these experiences I developed a great interest in oncology and regenerative medicine.Looking ahead, I see myself abroad, in a multicultural, dynamic environment. There, I hope to leverage my skills while constantly learning and engaging in lively group discussions.
