I started working for Pacific Terrace Hotel as a Housekeeping Manager- Responsible for Direct Hiring, Training, Scheduling, and Managing 25 employees. Managed guest room purchases to further enhance the guest experience, while staying within budget. With the 2 years of working in the Housekeeping Dept I created a teamwork environment and streamlined the way rooms were cleaned and inspected, and communication with all departments. After Securing the Housekeeping dept. I was promoted to Special Amenities Manager/ Quality Control Manager. I manage a team of 12 employees, Direct and Manage Food and Beverage, Banquets and Meetings, Room Service, Gift Shop, Pool Area, Mini Bars, Kitchen and Breakfast room. Our Hotel has maintained placement of top 5 on Trip Advisor out of 279 hotels in San Diego. Created Expense budget, ended the year under budget every year from 2010-recent. I launched and implemented a paid breakfast program to replace complimentary breakfast. Increased Minibar revenue by 20% from 2012-recent. As Quality Control Manager from 2012 to recent, I have brought the rooms, public areas, and breakfast areas up to 4 Diamond level standards and maintained that level since 2012. The way I train employees has also led 4 of the past years Employees to be Employees of the Month from my leadership.
