As a Magma Ambassador, I have the responsibility to connect the campus community withthe job market. I also help my colleagues to get to know more about our Talent programmes.I'm developing skills such as teamwork, problem solving and also how to play a critical rolein a dynamic company where each career path matters.

As President of the General Assembly, I am responsible for convening and presiding over the organisation's general assemblies, providing strategic leadership to ensure the fulfilment of its legislative and administrative responsibilities and guiding the decision-making processes of the assembly. In collaboration with the secretaries, I am also responsible for ensuring the accurate and detailed documentation of assembly minutes.

Happy Wish is a Junior Initiative that is part of the global Junior Enterprises Movement and a social non-profit organisation based at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), exclusively managed and operated by a team of 50 UBI students. Our core business activity lies in the organization of events, both online and in-person. Additionally, we conduct monthly volunteer activities and provide our members with opportunities to develop practical skills through hands-on experience and internal training sessions.As President of Happy Wish, my responsibilities included:- External representation of the organisation;- Close oversight of the organisation’s core business by supervising mainly the Events Department and the Finance Department;- Quality assurance;- Assurance of good relations with the organisation’s stakeholders;- Coordination of the Board’s agenda and meetings;- Writing and revision of manuals and internal or external documents;- Communication with Junior Enterprises Portugal and assurance of compliance with monthly goals.Additionally, I provided internal training on collaborative platforms, automated processes and events management.

As Manager of the Events Department, I was responsible for ensuring our core business through the organisation and production of monthly events (mainly educational) while managing the department’s team and assuring logistics aspects. Among other events, I had the opportunity to coordinate Happy Wish’s first in-person event subordinated to the theme “Young Entrepreneurship”, in which we also raised food items to donate to Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (Covilhã), and to organise a sign language workshop in which a percentage of the profit was reverted to CooLabora and Associação Portuguesa de Surdos. I also had the chance to provide internal trainings on internal processes automation.

As a member and Vice Manager of the Events Department, I was responsible for organising and coordinating events along with the other department members, as well as assisting the department manager with team management and logistics tasks. Among other events, I also had the opportunity to help in the organisation and logistics of our first sign language workshop, an event with over 85 participants that allowed us to raise around 700 euros for Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa.

The Great Human-Powered Aircraft (HPA) Race is an international competition in which the participating teams will attempt an aerial crossing of at least two hours to cross the English Channel from England to France in a human-powered aircraft. The Aero@UBI Team is a multidisciplinary team based in UBI that aims to design and build a human-powered aircraft to compete in this race.
