Designing beatiful office spaces.

In this positions I've maintained three main tasks, mainly as showroom coordinator, but also planning and coordinating events, and as project manager on product launches. Showroom coordinator: In this role, I've coordinated all parts of creating a new showroom; Construction, interior planning, selecting furniture and fabrics/colours/surfaces. Once all details are selected, I have made sure all actions are done; Ordering furniture, designing custumized furniture solutions (shelves and tables drawn in 2D and 3D and coordinated with local carpenters), keeping track of timeplans and handled budgets. Apart of creating new showrooms, I've also maintained existing showrooms, either by specific requests from colleques around the world, or by continiously updating with new textiles.Event coordination: Furnishing exhibition stands in different scales, from large international setups to 1-day small fairs. Taking care of the logistics of moving furniture, reupholstery of furniture and creation of new furniture pieces. Coordinating details with sales representatives located on the fair.Also planning of recurring exhibitions located in three scandinavian showrooms. This implies concept development, sketching and designing creative and artistic setups, contacting artists for collaboration and gathering material for display.Project management: This area evolves around bringing new products to market. I have been responsible for making timeplans and making sure all involved departments follow these or adjust accordingly. This task has given me great insight into the tasks of different departments (from Design, to purchace/logistics, quality, marketing and production), and a great understanding of the connections and logistics between all departments.Results: - I've lead the project of opening 8 new showrooms in a two-year period, creating a strong brand-concept across all showrooms.- Managing 10 product launches (new fabrics) simultaneously within a one-month period.

In this position I've supported on a wide range of tasks, for example: - Design and construction of customized furniture (Shelves, tables and freestanding screens). - Creating inspirational material for customer meetings, graphic layouts.- Sourcing material from sub-suppliers for use in specific customer projects. Creating timelines, coordinating with supplier and customer and updating both parts. - Gathering sales statistics, creating overview and gathering the output in a visual presentation.- In general, organising, creating systems and overviews.- Establishment of new showrooms and updates og exhisting showrooms with reupholsteries. - Coordination of Exhibitions stands; Ordering furniture, selecting fabric, packing furniture and accessories, creating overview/lists/guides, documentation, setting up the stand and disassembly and packing afterwards. This role has given me great insight into the market of fabrics in general, with a great understanding of all processes in design/production and an understanding of the different departments in the firm.

Alongside my full-time job at this time, I handled a handfull of freelance design tasks for SampleMaster, a department of Gabriel A/S. This included visualisations of customer specific solutions within the Sample/Packaging business. - 3D modelling in SolidWorks of boxes and samples. - Renderings to be used for customer approval prior to production. - Photography of final physical product, and editing in Photoshop.Results: - Assured a quick idea-to-market process with 3D-sketching against previous used method of physical mock-ups.

In my position at House of Interior, I worked mainly as a product designer, creating new designs within the area of home-furnishing, this being sofas, chairs, tables and accessories. Apart from designing new furniture, I have been creating technical drawings for use in industrial production, down to all wooden parts inside the upholstered sofas. Responsible for marketing and graphic creations such as; - Maintainance of website- Photography of products for Instagram profile, planning of content for Instagram and posting.- Graphic layout of posters and product leaflets- Customer supportResults: - Created technical drawings of all sofas in the portfolio (9 different styles)- Created 5 own designs to the product portfolio (Shelves, display cabinet, chair and coat racks)

8-week internship at Gabriel, where I was part of the daily work in the design department, DesignMaster. My main tasks were:- Designing racks for samples, concept development, sketching, 3D-drawing and renderings - Design and 3D visualisation of acoustic panels/screens, along with market-analysis of existing solutions within acoustics.- Prototyping in wood and 3D-print, showing details of screen-design.Results: Two of the design-concepts for racks were realised during my later employment at Gabriel, and brought to life in several Gabriel showrooms.

3D modeling of new products (mainly bookshelves), and created technical drawings for industrial production.

Alongside my studies at Aalborg University (Industrial Design), i worked part-time as a sales assistant, selling high-end furniture and accessories. This job gave me a great insigt into the business of design and furniture, from another perspective than my studies. In this role, my main tasks were: - Customer service and sales. - Order of furniture and accessories at suppliers. - Website updates according to price lists.- Creating visual guides of our internal system, for new employees training.

As a design intern at Bent Hansen my main tasks were: - Creating new design concepts, sketching and 3D modelling in SolidWorks.- Creating technical drawings for industrial production.- Sourcing external production. - Creating graphic documentation; assembly descriptions and quality-check instructions. - Prototyping by use of 3D print.

Cashier, filling up goods, bake-off and cleaning. Open- and closing responsible for 3 years.Results: Elected as "Employee of the Year" at Dagli' Brugsens 20'th years anniversary in September 2012, among the 375 stores in Denmark, and about 4000 employees.
