As a final-year medical student at Stellenbosch University, currently completing the Rural Clinical School in Malmesbury, Western Cape, I am developing a comprehensive understanding of clinical care, healthcare systems, and the challenges facing diverse populations. Through my education and clinical experiences, I’ve gained valuable insight into the real-world needs of patients and healthcare providers, particularly in underserved areas.I have a strong interest in leveraging my clinical background to help bridge the gap between medicine and healthcare management, especially within health insurance. My goal is to pursue a medical advisory role within insurance companies, where I can contribute to improving medical underwriting, claims evaluation, and health risk management.
