• Implemented a Monte Carlo data simulation for proof of concept of new nephelometer instrumentation using Python, AWS, and proprietary GRASP software

• Worked with a 20-25 person team on an application to create, manage, and monitor ads and ad performance on a variety of social media platforms by using the platforms’ APIs.• Responsible for architecture, design, and deployment decisions for the team including programming library decisions, database migration techniques, microservice structure, and test pattern design.• Migrated application to new RESTful-based authentication and authorization system• Responsible for switching QA and Development environments to Docker• Optimized large portions of the codebase, speeding up some pages by multiple orders of magnitude

• Led a team of 2-8 software engineers to create a social media ad management application written mostly in Python and Javascript. We used Django, Celery, and MySQL for the backend and Backbone, Marionette, and Handlebars for the frontend. The system was hosted on AWS and managed with Chef.• Responsible for leading projects from start to finish. Worked with product team and engineering management to prioritize projects and estimate duration and required resources. Collaborated with the project management team to break down the project into sprints and tickets and assign those tickets to individual engineers.
