I've been involved for more than 8 years with the international Square Kilometre Array project, serving as deputy head of communications and helping the team grow from just two to now more than 10 professionals operating in a wide range of roles and skills. In my capacity as deputy I help define and drive the global communications strategy; identify and deliver strategic projects and initiatives in support of the Observatory's mission and vision; and work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. I’m also deeply involved in developing, managing and advising on the brand. Passionate about issues of diversity, bias and cultural awareness, I act as an ethical champion for the organisation and am co-chair of its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group.

Coordinating communications and outreach activities for the International Astronomical Union's Centre for the Protection of the Dark and Quiet Sky from Satellite Constellation Interference (IAU CPS), which works with stakeholders internationally to understand and mitigate the impact of satellite constellations on astronomy. My work includes communications strategy, web and social media campaigns, media relations, public speaking, outreach, and more.

Education: give astronomy talks and workshops for students of all ages during incursions atthe ICRAR office and excursions in schools;• Events & exhibitions: participate in National Science Week activities, university opendays and others with exhibition material, telescope observations, giving general outreach and careeradvice, participate in public star parties;• Communication: draft press releases for the organisation, communicate the organisation’snews on social media channels, draft webpage content;• Photography: take photographs at every event to build up ICRAR’s photographic database ofoutreach activities
