One of six founding members of the Eloise Gannon Foundation, created in 2015 to honour the memory of the late Eloise Gannon and raise awareness of Wolff-Parkinson White Syndrome (WPW). The directorship role has included developing the Constitution Objectives and designing and managing the website and other social media channels. Social media representation will continue to be a crucial means for the Foundation to receive funding and support, whilst raising awareness of WPW. The Foundation's audience ranges from young people to adults in both the local and greater communities.

I am grateful to have completed my Honours with the Molecular Cardiology Group of the Centenary Institute, University of Sydney. This group is focused on understanding the genetic and clinical basis of inherited heart disease. My project was a complete genetic, clinical and cellular analysis in the cohort of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) patients. ARVC accounts for 5% of SCD in Australia and New Zealand.

Assisting the Associate Dean of Research in writing journal articles and developing online mathematics modules for early childhood to middle school classrooms. I have liaised with professors from international universities to plan cross-institutional visits to ACU's Learning Sciences Institute. This role has taught me many crucial research skills such as developing literature reviews and writing reference lists according to various formats. Through working at ACU, I have attained greater exposure to academic writing, EndNote and professional conduct.

Tutoring secondary school students aged 12-17 in English, Mathematics B, Chemistry, Legal Studies, Home Economics, Biology and Physics. This job requires an ability to deliver personalised teaching to each student, according to their strengths, weaknesses and the task at hand. Tutoring has challenged me to adapt to dynamic situations, sometimes tutoring two to three students at a time.

Coaching girls aged eight to 16 years for the Interschool Andrews Cup and QGSSSA competitions. It has been vital to encourage teamwork in the swimmers but also between the coaches and school staff to achieve the best possible outcome for the students. Additional to the respectful and caring relationship needed with the swimmers, it has been important to establish a considerate relationship with their parents to ensure everyone is safe around the pool. Managing a group of up to 22 young and demanding swimmers at a time has definitely fostered my problem solving skills and patience.

Coaching up to five 15 year old students on the Brisbane River and at competitive regattas at Lake Kawana. This role required a great degree of responsibility as working with rowing sculls and tinny boats on a busy waterway is a high risk environment.
