- Tripled revenues for the organization, leading inclusive grant writing processes, developing a local fundraising team, and implementing plan to diversify income streams to include private donations, earned revenue, and referral services. - Recruited and led diversely powerful team that has been exemplary in responding to workers’ needs after Hurricane Harvey and building infrastructure to support workers in the long haul. - Led creation of business model and theory of change that allowed for a vision of structural social change from within a not-for-profit business. - Collaborated with board to create personnel, financial, and board member policies and procedures, and led a holistic SWOT evaluation of the organization with multi-stakeholders. - Facilitated creation and restoration of strong partnerships, including partner organizations, government allies, law schools, and attorneys. - Exponentially increased the presence of workers’ rights issues in local media leading a volunteer communications team and implementing seasonal campaigns.

- Successfully directed Southern office through a five-month interim, including updating long-term vision and goals to align our short-term actions, restructuring timeline and delegation of deliverables and tasks to maximize efficiency, managing our first summer fellowship program, and generating grant reports and proposals for foundations. - Established four groups of young adult activists across Texas through facilitating meetings, building capacity and closely caring for relationships with new leaders. These teams lead Young Invincibles’ advocacy campaigns from the grassroots. - Created engaging curriculum and educational materials for three issue areas, as well as facilitated dialogue-based workshops, including conversations to improve value alignment among participants, to further understanding on an issue/policy, or to assemble strategy collectively. - Conducted participatory research project with and about young workers in Houston, and published a report with findings.

- Developed and implemented outreach plan for highly specific and marginalized populations across the city of Houston: citizens without identification. This awareness campaign diagnosed and recorded 120 cases of ID-less voters, who became tools for driving media attention and advocacy against the discriminatory law. - Pioneered in developing creative grassroots educational materials about voter ID laws. - Formulated procedures for voter ID case management, publishing a manual for voter ID support for advocates and attorneys. - Directly connected with voters and supported their cases’ progress.- Assembled a group of voter advocates, including a network of attorneys to document and aid voters.

Managed grassroots voter protection program training over 130 poll monitors on voting rights and supervised 90+ workers on Election Day.

Facilitated networking and secured participation of local groups in a campaign for fairer courts.

- Broadened and strengthened a coalition of partners across Houston to advance collaborative civic engagement plans, such as voter registration, get-out-the-vote (GOTV), and voter protection efforts, which resulted in the first time organizations with limited capacity would fulfill goals through coordination. - Advised and accompanied organizations in the development of their plans. - Launched an 8-weekend leadership development program to solidify 30 new leaders for coalition’s members. - Trained staffers on voting rights, nonprofit advocacy, canvassing and other skills.

- Identified and cultivated partnerships with diverse community of stakeholders across Houston, including nonprofit advocacy and service organizations, and public and private sectors institutions, to establish a united front for immigration reform. - Moderated discussions and guided implementation of participatory decisions, including press conferences and large marches. - Directed GOTV program with paid and volunteer canvassers, holding workshops for learning about issues, voting laws, and recruitment skills. - Fostered staff into creating grassroots groups in different Houston neighborhoods for the fair economy campaign.
