Within this role I support the connection between grassroots and non-profit B3 organizations across Canada and conducting research on subjects relevant to the social services and employment sectors. My responsibilities include producing a monthly newsletter/bulletin that's contains a feature article, calls to action, funding opportunities, events and job openings. as the community engagement specialist I support the community of practice through introductions and referrals. I often execute project management and outreach activities independently or in collaboration with internal/external team members to achieve deliverables in a timely manner using effective communication skills.

● Work on developing and supporting the execution of an outreach plan and activities toengage youth to participate in CEE career training programs● Support in ensuring the program is accessible to youth who may face multiple barriers toparticipation (such as financial hardship, conflict with the law, being a young parent, etc)● Support in the developing marketing material to promote programs online and in theGreater Toronto Area - this may include contracting graphic designers, videographers,content creators, printers etc.● Support with conducting community canvassing to market the CEE program directly toyouth and agencies/businesses that serve youth including flyer distribution, social mediapromotions, gaining referrals from community partners, and community presentations● Support with coordinating the screening and interview in collaboration with ProgramAdmin, Social Worker, Program Coordinator, and program partners to select cohortmembers● Other tasks as assigned by the CEE Executive and Management team.
