Academic Project Manager
CurrentEMI-TB (Eliciting Mucosal Immunity in Tuberculosis) is a EC funded 4 year research programme with 14 academic and SME partners. The goal of the consortium is to identify and conduct pre-clinical testing on a novel vaccine candidate for tuberculosis, which will be delivered via the airways (i.e. following the predominant route of infection). As project manager, my roles are to facilitate communication between partners and with external stakeholders, organise meetings and file reports, manage a website (www.emi-tb.org) and ensure compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. My scientific background also allows me to be involved in designing and conducting experimental work crucial to the successful delivery of the project.
