Mechtronic Solutions (MSI) was a privately owned turnkey product realization company that turned design concepts into commercial products. Key customers were in defense/aerospace and industrial/commercial sectors. The company was acquired by National Technical Systems (NTS) in late 2010.My key projects were:• Airborne particulate collection systems for manned and unmanned aircrafts. My main functions were mechanical design, FEA analysis, drag and throughput CFD analysis, close interaction with defense customer, collaboration with carbon-fiber composite houses and machining vendors.• FASTek machine that loads up to 47,000 lbs of scrap-steel into ISO shipping containers. Product is best described in video at http://www.advancedsteel.com/ My involvement was most critical in developing the mobile version of this machine where I was responsible for design and analysis of the main frame structure.• Material handling equipment for global chemical corporation. I was the lead mechanical engineer designing this super-fine powder processing setup from its initial concept.

Ultratech manufactures advanced packaging and laser processing equipment for semiconductor industry. I worked in R&D designing next generation machinery.

DiCon makes optical components, integrated modules, MEMS products and test equipment for the fiberoptics industry. I worked in the automation department designing in-house automation machinery and assembly stations.
