As an IT, Project and Operations Manager/Director, my main roles have been managing the full end-to-end implementation lifecycle for IT and logistics projects and IT/business management for both SME’s and larger corporate departments. Integral to my 35-year career has been the management of projects/contract negotiations to the value of £500,000 and managing stakeholder relationships across businesses. In these two areas, I influence decisions at board level driving investment in IT operations and other areas of business.Notable career highlights include collaborating with both Blue-chip organisations, SME’s and UK governmental departments across various sectors including Coca Cola, JLI Group Plc, Norsk Data, New World Payphones and The Police Service of Northern Ireland, developing their technological capacity and other business essentials at both strategic and operational levels. I can quickly understand the diverse business needs and priorities of employers and clients, directing them on how to align their operational policies and procedures to company strategy. I’ve advised and issued guidance on IT compliance standards, UK GDPR legislation and security management issues.I provide concrete strategic and objective project plans to creating tailored IT and business solutions. In doing so, I consult with a range of executive stakeholders on how to handle specific challenges that can occur. With robust problem-solving skills, cost savings from 25% to 35% across different projects have been made, often surpassing client’s expectations.My leadership style is very much of a fluid nature and I am very much at ease in complex business environments, demonstrating the necessary resolve to drive through standards whilst delivering commitment and momentum from colleagues and business stakeholders.
