MyExpenses or Point Progress as the company was known as was acquired in June 2022.As part of Civica I was heavily involved with migrating our IT infrastructure, Development infrastructure and tech stack to Civica. Such as migrating Azure Active Directory, telephony and DevOps services and processes from Bitbucket, Jira, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy to Azure DevOps.I currently manage a small development team where I work closely with Projects and Support to prioritise development work. Contracted for 6 months.This job entailed supporting local communities of our team leaders choosing after much discussion with the rest of team. We decided to support local veterans by raising awareness and hopefully bring a change to improve the conditions veterans faced when going back into civilian life.Graphics and Team participant:- Worked with a team to design a website from scratch using appropriate tools within Photoshop CS5- Building PowerPoint presentations using custom art and graphics work designed in Photoshop, this included but not limited to designing logos, backgrounds, custom text- Researching events for my team to participate in to help raise awareness and funds for Pathways Veterans now renamed to North West Veterans- Building and using surveys to get an idea of the amount of awareness and also raise awareness about North West Veterans and events.- Updating the Pathways Veterans/North West Veterans Facebook page with news, surveys and events.Internal Infrastructure:- Provided IT and technician support for work colleagues, involved in troubleshooting and repairing computers, laptops, printers amongst other technical tasks- Minor administration work, which involved but not limited to answering the telephone, keeping on top of work colleagues attendances.- Managing the petty cash - involves monitoring the amount put in and taken out.
