His entrepreneurial spirit found expression in eXXite, an innovative surfboard brand fusing elements of yacht engineering with traditional board-shaping techniques that caught the eyes of watersport giant : StarboardStarboard was a pivotal chapter in Rauzier’s journey that unfolded in Thailand, where he assumed the role of Head of R&D. His groundbreaking contributions to board design and construction propelled the brand to prominence in the global watersport industry and Mat was promoted to Brand Manager.The genesis of Rayvolt emerged on a serendipitous occasion—his son’s birthday celebration, where a friend arrived with their family on a cargotricycle. Inspired by the potential of electrically-propelled urban transportation, Rauzier envisioned a sleek and agile alternative. Combining his passion for vintage motorcycles with electric propulsion, he birthed the iconic Cruzer, Rayvolt’s inaugural e-bike model.Rauzier’s entrepreneurial odyssey epitomizes innovation, passion, and a relentless pursuit of redefining the status quo.
