As an analyst, I made all the reports we used in the projects and when we then carried out the projects, I was the project manager and I then helped as an investigator to complete the projects and report them to prosecutors. As a project manager, I collaborated with staff at various authorities such as the Social Services, the Rescue Service, Customs and Norrköping Municipality. We also held trainings every year, for school staff, students and parents. This was a new way of working for us and we succeeded so well that we were named one of Sweden's three most successful local police stations, during an inspection carried out by the National Criminal Police during this time. The reports I made before we started the projects, contributed to us succeeding so well in our way of working. I learned that as a project manager I was good at making decisions when we would carry out various coercive actions, I knew when our material was good enough for a conviction and this made us effective and did not waste a lot of unnecessary time.
