Driving strategic growth through collaborative innovationAs the innovation manager, I am responsible for the culture of innovation within Klomp and I mobilize my colleagues so innovations and improvements can flow into the organization. I contribute in this process with an advisory-, supporting- and guiding role. In addition, I investigate and maintain potential partnerships, scout innovations and partnerships by being involved in the Dutch contractor market and its adjacent markets.I translate emerging trends and developments into strategic plans, overseeing innovation goals, and offering advice and reports on innovations, opportunities, and progress for the Klomp holding and its ten subsidiary companies.In this role, I report directly to the directors of Klomp and I also often collaborate with directors and senior management from other companies. This collaborative approach has not only taught me to consider the operational interests of the workforce but also the strategic interests of management.An additional benefit of my role is some business development by creating and maintaining external contacts. This has resulted in a substantial number of project requests spanning various disciplines.

Leveraging my passion for innovation and expertise in market research, data analysis, and emerging technologies, I was responsible for identifying market shifts and uncovering growth opportunities. I translated these insights into actionable strategies and roadmaps, driving business process improvement through analytics-driven solutions. I also monitored competitor activity and managed product requirements development, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.

Successfully led strategic acquisitions for the IST Commission, drawing on a proven track record of identifying and securing participation from crucial organizations.During the latter part of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, I assisted in the acquisition of companies for a research project on the innovation ecosystem in London, England. Here we were able to acquire corporates like EY or NGOs like Justdiggit.From the latter part of 2022 until the beginning of 2023, I served as the head of acquisitions for a research project examining the impact of COVID-19 on the innovation ecosystem in Seoul, South Korea. Here we were able to arrange meetings with the bigger Korean companies, like Samsung, LG, Kia, CJ, and SK, among others.

Leading student engagement initiatives by organizing events that connected them with external organizations and explored potential career paths and internship opportunities. Managed the commission's finances, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fostering valuable relationships with external stakeholders. Played a key role in facilitating student career development by providing guidance, exploring internship options, and contributing to their overall professional growth.

Over the course of five months, I conducted research focused on uncovering untapped opportunities at Asset Based Finance (ABF), particularly in the realm of sustainability investments. Drawing upon my own expertise and leveraging the knowledge of a diverse range of employees from both ABF and the ABN AMRO bank, I have compiled a comprehensive consultancy report filled with valuable insights and recommendations.During this period, I also actively participated in the following initiatives:1. Centre of Expertise (CoE): A dedicated group of knowledgeable employees primarily focused on sustainability. Together, we collaborated to harness our collective expertise within the organization and implement strategies aimed at fostering a more sustainable ABF. Notably, I took the responsibility of creating the initial version of a tool designed to evaluate the potential of (innovative) sustainable assets.2. Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR): This team operates within ABF and is committed to realizing the European Commission's roadmap for a sustainable economy. Through meticulous data analysis and reporting, ABF strives to contribute to the achievement of this goal.
