Duties included:- Driving the direction and development of the site, working alongside the company’s IT department and external suppliers. - Provision of friendly and welcoming written content for the site and representing the company on internet forums and mailing lists.- Creating banners, buttons and graphic elements using Photoshop.- Editing and compressing video footage for use on the web.Achievements:- I built the company’s original website by hand before working on the development of a fully-fledged e-commerce site. - The CEX site won a number of awards and plaudits, and was cited as a core reason for the company winning the coveted CTW Independent Retailer of the Year award in 2001.

Duties included: Designing and building microsites for clients to their specifications.Formatting content in HTML and use of the company’s content management system. Basic account management.

Duties included proof-reading certificates, staffing the clearing and results telephone hotlines, checking information against the live student database and providing general administrative support to the Admissions and Assessment Department.

Responsibilities included organising the printing and distribution of the Department’s national press releases, dealing with requests from the media, public, ministers and officials, ordering new paper stock and assisting the Department’s Publicity Unit during major press launches.
